How can I become a volunteer?
All are welcome to volunteer. A volunteer form is filled out during your first visit; volunteers under the age of 18 years must have their forms filled out by a parents / guardian and supply references. Overseas volunteers are requested to arrange for their accommodation and transport prior to their coming and have health insurance.
Can I adopt a child?
New Life Home Trust is committed to placing children into families. Local and international adoptions are facilitated by Kenyan Adoption Societies and through the Children’s Department in accordance with Kenyan adoption laws.
Where do you get your babies?
New Life Home Trust works closely with the Children’s Department, local hospitals, and clinics, as well the police. The babies come to us through these sources and sometimes from other children’s homes.
Do these babies have known parents?
The majority of our babies have been abandoned, thus no known relatives.
Where do these babies go?
At the appropriate time, the children are discharged to families for adoption, brought up in our family homes, or transferred to other children’s homes. A few of them have, however, been reunited with their biological families.
How can I offer my support?
You are welcome to either volunteer your services or give cash or in-kind donations to any of our programs
Are all your babies and children HIV positive?
Not all are our children are HIV positive. We do, however, give priority of admission into New Life Homes to infants who are or said to be HIV positive.
