As NEW LIFE HOME TRUST has spread across Kenya so has the awareness of the thousands of babies that are daily being abandoned in hedgerows, ditches, pit-latrines and hospitals. With this awareness has come the dream to see at least one rescue facility established in each of Kenya’s eight provinces. This dream began to become a reality in the year 2000 with the establishing of satellite baby and family homes in strategic towns and cities. The first satellite home being in the city of Kisumu on the shores of Lake Victoria in western Kenya. To date homes have been established in Nairobi (2), Kisumu, Nakuru, Mombasa and Nyeri. |
