The Ark, in Nairobi, is a family home that was established in 2003 to care for infants who had medical needs and who had not been adopted. With a resident housemother to care for them and ancillary staff, these children are given love and care just like in a normal family. Within the home is a small kindergarten for the youngest children while the older children attend a local school.
