1. How did you come to work at New Life?
I came to work at New Life in 2001, after a friend told me that there was a vacancy in the housekeeping department.

2. What’s your favourite part of working with New Life?
The thing I most enjoy about my job is making sure that every baby play area and every room is spotlessly clean. I also really love preparing the baby food for all the infants.

3. What are some highlights from your time at New Life?
I really enjoyed our recent team building day – it was a lot of fun and very refreshing. Another highlight is those times when we have different teachers and trainers come in to speak to us, such as Peter & Anne Chege and ‘Teacher Flo’. The teaching sessions are always very encouraging and motivational.

4. Looking forward, what is your biggest wish for New Life?
My hope is that New Life will grow and spread into all 47 counties across Kenya.

Phyllis Wangari (2nd from right) - A friend of mine used to come here to volunteer and she directed me. Now, I work at New Life supporting the children's housekeeping needs.

2. What’s your favourite part of working with New Life?
Maggie Gatwiri (3rd from right) - New Life has taught me a lot. And the learning experience has been invaluable to me.

3. What are some highlights from your time at New Life?
Evaline Mokeira (extreme right)- I have learnt how to care best for children. As much as I am a housekeeper, working here has exposed me to much more.
