SUPPORT PROGRAMMES

|
Feeding Programme
Facing the challenge of hunger and thirst across the country has brought into being Feeding Programmes and the drilling of bore holes in connection with a network of SCHOOLS established in marginalized areas. The problem is enormous; but with the help of the international donor community, these programmes can be sustained and more children fed.
Child Education Sponsorship
In 1989 a Child Sponsorship Programme was launched to support needy, vulnerable children enjoy the privilege of primary education. A number of these children have since graduated from high school and are now in universities and polytechnics. We would like to enable more children in our target areas to benefit from the Child Education Sponsorship Programme, thus giving them a greater opportunity in the future to find work to support themselves and their families.
Schools and Centres
With the establishing of the rescue homes has been the launching of centres in Ruiru and Lamu Island for vulnerable young children who daily receive compassion and love through a programme of social and spiritual care. A support programme of schools for needy and marginalized children in Central and Coast Provinces has also been established.
